Description

This is a Genuine OEM MTD part. Basic informationPart name: Snowblower hex shaftManufacturer: MTDCategory: Snowblower drive and transmission partsPrimary function: Transfers torque and rotational force between components with a hex connection to help drive motionInstallation & compatibilityCompatible models: Fits select MTD and Craftsman snowblowers; confirm compatibility using your models parts diagramsInstallation difficulty: Medium; requires accessing the drive or linkage area where the shaft mountsTools required: Wrench set, socket set, pliers Additional Information: This snowblower hex shaft, part number 911-05752, is a straight shaft with a hex-shaped section that allows it to transfer torque between mating components in the drive or control system. The hex design helps prevent slippage and maintains a firm connection as rotational force passes through. If the hex shaft becomes worn, rounded, bent, or damaged, you may notice slippage, binding, or inconsistent engagement in the connected components. The drive or linkage may feel loose, unresponsive, or work intermittently depending on how the shaft interacts with mating parts. Disconnect the spark plug wire before starting the repair to prevent accidental startup. Shaft and surrounding components can have sharp edges, so wearing work gloves can help protect your hands during handling. Make sure the hex shaft seats fully and the mating components are aligned correctly before using the snowblower. | Mtd Snowblower Hex Shaft 911-05752 Genuine OEM
