Description
This is a Genuine OEM Craftsman part. Basic InformationPart Name: Pole Saw Extension Pole CouplerManufacturer: MTDCategory: Pole Saw PartsPrimary Function: Connects the lower extension pole to the upper or middle extension pole on a pole sawInstallation & CompatibilityCompatible Models: Fits various MTD pole saw models. Please confirm this part is correct for your model before ordering. Installation Difficulty: Easy ? straightforward installationTools Required: None, but wear work gloves for safety Additional Information: The MTD Pole Saw Extension Pole Coupler securely joins two sections of a pole saw, helping maintain structural integrity and cutting control during operation. This part allows you to extend your reach by connecting the lower extension pole to the upper or middle section, making it easier to trim high branches without a ladder. Over time, wear or damage to the coupler can cause loose or unstable pole connections. If your pole saw feels wobbly or the sections fail to lock in place, replacing the extension pole coupler can restore a firm, secure fit and improve overall performance. To install, align the pole sections and insert the coupler until it clicks or locks into position. No tools are required, but work gloves are recommended to protect your hands during the process. Always confirm compatibility with your model before ordering to ensure proper fit. Check the coupler regularly as part of your routine equipment maintenance. A secure connection reduces strain on other components and helps ensure safer, more precise cutting results.
