Proper axle alignment helps maintain stable movement and even traction during operation. If the snowblower pulls to one side, wheels wobble, or the drive system binds or slips, the axle shaft may be bent, worn, or damaged. Excessive play at the wheel hubs or uneven wheel rotation can also indicate axle issues. Before starting the repair, disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Support the snowblower securely, remove the wheels and related components, then install the axle shaft so it seats correctly and rotates freely.
