This is a Genuine OEM Ecodyne part. This valve body cover (part number 7171161) is for water softeners. Valve body cover 7171161 attaches over the valve body to cover the rotor and disc and seal the top of the valve body. Disconnect electrical power and turn off the water supply to the water softener before replacing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
