Basic InformationPart name: snowblower friction wheel kitManufacturer: Briggs & StrattonCategory: SnowblowerPrimary function: Restores traction drive engagement by providing a replacement friction wheelInstallation & CompatibilityCompatible models: Fits select Briggs & Stratton models; confirm compatibility using your models parts diagram. Installation Difficulty: Medium; requires accessing the drive plate and friction wheel assemblyTools required: Socket wrench and work gloves Additional Information: The snowblower friction wheel kit 707840 replaces the friction wheel that contacts the drive plate to move the snowblower forward or backward. A new friction wheel restores smooth, consistent traction drive operation. If your snowblower hesitates, jerks during movement, loses drive power or struggles in certain speeds, the friction wheel may be worn or hardened and unable to grip the drive plate effectively. Disconnect the spark plug wire before beginning the repair. Wear work gloves, open the drive housing carefully and install the new friction wheel according to your service manual to ensure proper alignment and drive performance. | Briggs & Stratton Snowblower Friction Wheel Kit 707840 Genuine OEM
