Description
This is a Genuine OEM Husqvarna part. Basic InformationPart name: Snowblower pulley swing plateManufacturer: HusqvarnaCategory: Snowblower drive componentsPrimary function: Supports pulley movement to control belt engagement and tensionInstallation & CompatibilityCompatible models: Fits select Husqvarna, Craftsman, and Poulan models; confirm capability using your models parts diagramsInstallation Difficulty: Medium; may require partial disassemblyTools required: Socket set, wrench Additional Information: The snowblower pulley swing plate, part number 587703402, mounts within the drive system and allows the pulley to pivot as belts engage and disengage. Controlled movement helps maintain proper belt tension and smooth power transfer during operation. You might notice the drive or auger engages inconsistently, belts slipping under load, or sudden loss of movement while the engine continues running. Excess play, misalignment, or visible bending in the swing plate can also affect how the belt tracks. Disconnect the spark plug wire before beginning the repair. The swing plate installs near rotating pulleys and metal brackets, so work gloves can help protect your hands during removal and installation. Make sure the plate moves freely and the pulley aligns correctly before reconnecting the spark plug wire. | Husqvarna Snowblower Pulley Swing Plate 587703402 Genuine OEM
