Please confirm this part is correct for your model before ordering. Installation Difficulty: Medium — involves replacing internal components; ensure safety precautions are followed. Tools Required: Screwdriver, work gloves Additional Information: The AYP line trimmer cutting head drive disc is a key component that transfers engine power to the cutting head, allowing your trimmer to spin the line and cut grass and weeds cleanly. When this part wears down or becomes damaged, the cutting head may stop spinning or work inconsistently, reducing the trimmer s effectiveness. If you notice poor trimming performance or the head fails to rotate, replacing the drive disc can restore reliable operation. This part helps keep your yard looking sharp by ensuring the cutting line spins as intended during use. Before starting the replacement, disconnect the trimmer from its power source or unplug the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starts. Wear work gloves to protect your hands during the repair.
