As refrigerant flows through the evaporator, it absorbs heat from the interior air to maintain proper temperatures. If the refrigerator is not cooling properly, develops heavy frost buildup, or runs continuously without reaching the set temperature, the evaporator assembly may be restricted or damaged. Uneven cooling between compartments can also indicate an issue within this section of the cooling system. Disconnect power to the refrigerator before starting any service. Because this assembly connects to the sealed system, replacement involves handling refrigerant lines and specialized equipment. This repair should be performed by a qualified service technician to avoid damaging the cooling system. | GE Blomberg Refrigerator Evaporator Assembly 4946780100 Genuine OEM
