The zig-zag chain pattern provides improved grip on slippery surfaces, helping the snowblower maintain forward motion and control during heavy snow removal. The chains are made to fit Sno-Hog tires with knobby tread and are designed to install securely without interfering with tire rotation or housing clearance. Using chains on both tires ensures balanced traction and prevents slippage when maneuvering over uneven ground. Before installation, park the snowblower on a flat surface and disconnect the spark plug wire. Wrap each chain evenly around the tire, connect the fasteners, and adjust for a snug fit. Wear work gloves to protect your hands while securing the chains. | Mtd Snowblower Tire Chain, 16 X 6.5-In 490-241-0029 Genuine OEM
