This helps extend the life of the primary air filter and keeps your engine running efficiently. If your engine is hard to start or shows signs of reduced power, a dirty or damaged pre-filter could be the cause. Replacing the pre-filter improves airflow and helps maintain consistent engine performance. To install, first disconnect the spark plug wire. Allow the engine to cool completely. Slide the foam pre-filter over the primary filter and ensure it fits snugly. No tools are required, but wearing work gloves is recommended to protect your hands during the process. Check your pre-filter regularly and replace it when it becomes visibly dirty or worn. A clean pre-filter supports better fuel efficiency and reduces long-term engine wear. | Craftsman Lawn & Garden Equipment Engine Pre-Filter 36634 6.10 x 4.05 x 0.50 Genuine OEM
