Rebuilding the carburetor can resolve issues like hard starting, rough idling, or inconsistent performance caused by worn internal components. This kit helps maintain the proper fuel-air mixture needed for efficient combustion. Replacing worn gaskets and seals prevents air leaks and fuel delivery problems, keeping your engine running smoothly and extending its lifespan. Before installation, allow the engine to cool and drain the fuel tank and lines. Work in a well-ventilated area and wear work gloves to protect your hands. Clean all carburetor parts thoroughly before reassembly to ensure the rebuild is effective. This kit does not include the carburetor body; it is intended for rebuilding an existing unit that is still structurally sound. With proper installation, this Kohler rebuild kit helps restore performance without the cost of a full carburetor replacement.
