Description

This is a Genuine OEM Ariens part. Basic InformationPart name: Snowblower speed control armManufacturer: AriensCategory: Snowblower drive and control componentsPrimary function: Transfers speed selector movement to the drive system to change ground speedInstallation & CompatibilityCompatible models: Fits select Ariens models; confirm capability using your models parts diagramsInstallation Difficulty: Medium; may require partial disassemblyTools required: Socket set, wrench Additional Information: The snowblower speed control arm, part number 03240151, moves in response to the speed selector and adjusts the position of the drive components. Its movement determines how the drive system engages, allowing you to change ground speed during operation. You might notice difficulty shifting speeds, a control that feels loose or unresponsive, or the snowblower staying in one speed regardless of selector position. Binding movement, excess play, or wear at the pivot points can also prevent speed changes from registering correctly. Disconnect the spark plug wire before beginning the repair. The speed control arm operates near moving linkage and rotating drive components, so work gloves can help protect your hands during removal and installation. Make sure the arm moves smoothly through its full range and that speed changes engage properly before reconnecting the spark plug wire. | Ariens Snowblower Speed Control Arm 03240151 Genuine OEM
