The Viega MegaPressG 1 in. x 3/4 in. Press Reducer Fitting is designed to provide a fast, reliable transition between different pipe sizes in gas and fuel piping systems. Constructed from high-strength carbon steel, this fitting features a 1-inch FTG (street) connection on one side and a 3/4-inch press connection on the other, allowing contractors and installers to create secure, leak-resistant connections in seconds. As part of the Viega MegaPressG system, this reducer eliminates the need for threading, welding, soldering, pipe dope, or Teflon tape, helping reduce labor time and simplify installation. The fitting incorporates Viega's Smart Connect technology, which helps identify unpressed connections during system testing for added installation confidence. It is approved for use with natural gas, liquid propane (LP), compressed air, diesel fuel, vacuum systems, and other compatible applications. Compatible with Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 black steel pipe, the MegaPressG reducer offers a professional-grade solution for residential, commercial, and industrial piping projects.
