Engineered For ThermoBalance III Roughs This cartridge is purpose-built for ThermoBalance III rough-in valves?use it with rough 06624000 (without service stops) or 06628000 (with service stops). Verifying the rough model before ordering avoids misfit and rework. Three-Function Shower Control ThermoBalance III valves integrate thermostatic control with a three-way diverter for multi-feature showers. All three outlets must be plumbed (do not plug any outlet), and the valve is not for use with a diverter tub spout?follow the piping diagram for two-feature layouts. Front-Side Service, No Wall Demo Replace from the finished side: remove trim, close the stops (if present), align the locator tab with the notch in the rough, and tighten the retainer screws evenly. Finalize by calibrating the safety limit stop and checking for leaks. Durable, OEM Sealing & Feel Genuine Hansgrohe seals and tolerances help maintain the valve?s original smooth operation and reduce nuisance drips. With periodic system flushing and clean water supply, the TBIII delivers years of dependable control. Compliance Path Intact While the cartridge itself is a service part, the complete ThermoBalance III assembly maintains its ASME/CSA, IAPMO and UL listings when serviced per Hansgrohe?s instructions?supporting inspection and warranty requirements. Clear Specs, Clear Expectations System flow is governed by the trim and supply conditions; many ThermoBalance III trims specify around 6.0 GPM at 44 psi. Always consult the trim?s specification sheet and the rough?s instructions for exact limits and piping.
